What is InkTrail?
InkTrail is my unfiltered chronicle of bootstrapping a side business from scratch in 1 year, without using my name or assets - an experiment in building a brand with limited time and resources.

How it all started...
A while back, I enrolled in this high-end mastermind run by a big shot guru. Halfway through, he springs this challenge on us: start a side business from scratch and generate income within a year, working just one hour a day. But there's a catch - you can't use your own name or existing assets. You've got to build a brand and entity completely from the ground up..
Now that fired me up!
I live for this kind of tests!
Taking limited resources and growing them exponentially through sheer will and the power of great marketing.
So I accepted on the spot.
They assigned us niches randomly and I got Mobile Notary. Boring, I thought to myself at first! Doesn't matter - with the right positioning and promotion, you can kill it in any niche.
I mean, I have zero knowledge of notary work, regulations, or marketing - but no worries! I'm sure I can figure it out on the fly, right?
I just know that with my background in digital marketing and business, sheer willpower and creative marketing I'll be able to make this notary thing a thriving business in no time. I'll figure out the legal regulations, training requirements, and marketing strategies one step at the time!
